Well they look good on anyone at nearly any age when it's not over done...stay away from torn up cuffs and tears in the butt unless it is on a woman and there's a nice bit of lingerie on underneath. It helps to be sexy first.
In the 90's I wore a pair of jeans that I tore a whole in the front not far from the crotch area. I sewed in a square I cut off from a pair of boxer shorts and it looked really cool. But, I was in my 20's then.
