I've got OMD's Locomotion stuck in my head- it's what I'm listening to right now. It's so annoying it's genius!
These songs that get stuck in your head actually have a scientific name- earworms. The more repetitive the song or the backing track is, then the more likely the song is to become an earworm. Attacks of earworms are usually sudden and last for several minutes only, although longer ones are also frequent. There is usually a trigger, such as an object you associate with the song, or even the time of the day that you first listened to the song at.
There is also a cure. One way involves waiting until an attack begins, and then singing or thinking about an 'eraser' song, which will hopefully erase the annoying song. Singing Happy Birthday backwards also works. I find listening to Joy Division's Love Will Tear Us Apart 5 times one after the other also works.
The only danger is that the eraser song might get stuck in your head.
Hope this helps.

Leopardskin Pillbox Hat by Bob Dylan - it's the naughtiest, funniest, messiest blues track around. I play it in the car every morning on the way to work - and it's lasted 3 weeks so far.

Two older songs by Inxs from "The Swing" album. These songs are "Love Is (What I Say)" and "Dancing on the Jetty". If you have heard Inxs, these songs are the essence of the band.
