I prefer to think of art as an introverted experience, each human has their individual, unique concept of "art". In this, one may make the claim that a canvas covered in rocks and paint is "art", no other has to agree. No consensus must be reached, the piece is art to the viewer. However, in science, there must be a near universal acceptance of concepts. One can not claim the Sun is black and have such a thought upheld by Science. Science requires observation and judgement from the many, not the one.

I might be wrong (I most likely am), but I think it means that art is about the individual because art can be interpretted in different ways by each person, while science is a concept is often either fact or fiction.

Art is generally something created by one person, science is something that involves a lot of people, ideas and theories.

Or Art is something that an individual appreciates, as in beauty is in the eye of the beholder but science is something quite strict and it's the same for everybody.

Nice interesting question.I don't know the actual meaning of it but according to me Art is something personal, like a poet, artist, painter, dancers they show their personal feelings in their work or their personal point of views.Where as science is a complete different approach. As we say necessity is the mother of invention. So it means the united need of advancement and development results into progress of science. If only one person requires UFO nobody would built that for him but if there is a strong need for that then there would be scientists looking upon this need.So i think Art is I and science is We as art is about one 's personal ideas and science is about every ones needs and requirements.

Art belongs to one person even it attracts all.

But Science belongs to all; even if it is discovered by one. The benefits of science are to all of us.
