Lincoln, England.
Driving into town I pass under a stone archway built by the Romans around 2000 years ago and still in good order. Parking near the the magificent, 10 centuries old, Lincoln Cathedral, which houses one of the four remaining copies of the Magna Carta, I walk across the medieval cobbled road and admire the huge edifice of Lincoln Castle, built by the Normans. Then I take a coffee break in one of several old coaching inns which have been in business since the time when Lincoln was one of the main staging posts on the route from London to York. And should I wish to shop, I can walk down an incredibly steep hill into the modern town centre, passing as I do one of the oldest continuously lived in houses in the UK.
You should come and visit some time - you'd find it quite fascinating!

The city of Sierra Vista, AZ and the Army post are incorporated. The Army post, Fort Huachuca (pronounced wah'chew'ka") is known as the Home of the Buffalo Soldier http://www.lib.byu.edu/~rdh/wwi/comment/huachuca/HI1-01.htm
and the Apache word Huachuca means Thunder Mountain or place of thunder.
Best time to visit is October for Tombstones "Helldorado Days"

I live in the largest (area) city in the U.S. We have a dormant volcano right outside town that just about anyone can climb in an afternoon. We have more bears than just about anywhere else. We have some of the most beautiful mountains and sea in the world. We also have a large Tlingkit population with dancers and storytellers, artists and artisans of all types. We also have the most interesting person in the world living here...me! j/k

I live in the prison capital of Texas. We have more than 10 prisons within our city limits and thousands of violent criminals live within a few miles of my house. The death chamber where the death row inmates are lethally injected is within walking distance of my house. We who live here are used to seeing prison inmates working in the fields and beside the roads we travel everyday. Every day on my way to work, I pass a gang of inmates working. There are probably at least 20-30 inmates, and one guard on horseback with a rifle. Sometimes I wave and they wave back. The main Wall unit is the nearest to my house and it is in the middle of town. Castle like brick walls surround the inner portion where the inmates are and at each corner of the wall there are guard pickets- small square huts with an armed guard in each one and their job is to shoot anyone trying to come over the wall and they do and they have. When the prisoners are let out of prison, they leave from the front door of the Walls unit and usually walk a few blocks to the bus station where they get on a bus and leave the city. Sometimes you see the new releases walking around the town and I can always tell them from the shoes they wear and the cheap clothes they are given when they leave. People always ask me if I am afraid to live here and I say no because when the inmates get out, they get as far from here as they possibly can. The people in the big cities near us should be the ones afraid because that is where the inmates are going.

My city is Cairo and now is the holly month of Ramadan for Muslims. You will see how polite the people are now and how everyone is treating you in a very friendly way. Moreover, you will be able to have dinner in what we call "sohoor tent" which serves the best food you will ever taste. Of course this is plus the sphinx and pyramids of Giza.

See if you can guess where I am. The sound of water running is considered beautiful. Ancient buildings stand side by side with modern pre-fab like buildings. Deer roam freely in the park. It is a very popular tourist destination once the tourist is in the country.
