I'm 20 years old. Class of 2004. I haven't gone to college yet, but I do want to have some type of a career. I work full time. Usually about 50 hours a week at $11.25 and hour. This doesn't leave me much time for school. It's not that I choose to live this way, but I"ve been on my own since 16. What can I do that pays well, will be in demand in the near future, and doesn't consume all my time? Any sincere advice would help.

Almost anything that has to do with computer technology. Computers are a huge part of our world now unlike 15-20 years ago.

Your best bet is the military. They pay for your college while youre in and you also get to use the GI Montgomery bill when you get out. Try the Navy or Air Force though, because you likely won't get blown up in Iraq. Seriously though. I have almost knocked out my Associates in less then two years. They give you credit for your technical schools you need for your job while your in too.

Try a health career such as radiation technology, nursing or respiratory therapy.
