Why would you steal bread to feed these ugly scavengers. Do you know pigeons carry diseases that are practically fatal to humans. Also bread is bad for them. It is like junk food for humans. yes, they love it it fills up their crop so they do not feel hungry, but they derive no nutritional value from it. If fed on bread alose they become malnourished and diseased. If you must feed pigeons buy pigeon food at the bulk food store. It is 60 cents a pound.

Yes,pigeons can survive off of old, stale bread and would be quite content with it. If you were feeding homeless people that's a different story.
