There have been many great statesmen in the history of the world, like Mahatma Gandhi, Winston Churchill, Jawaharlal Nehru, etc. But, these leaders were not mere politicians, with narrow political ends in their mind. Greatness and politician are two contradictory terms in themselves. Hence, i cannot remember any great politician.

So far no one but one great politician has already taken birth 45 years ago!!! He is just waiting for an opportunity to enter the politics..Once he enters and start his actions ..he will be considered as the greatest politician in the world for about two centuries... Difficult to name,because today's politicians are nothing but only crooks, and the politicians of yester years were also the great human beings( they were not merely the politicians).

Well according to me it is Mahatma Gandhi..
if u give me another option i would say Nelson Mandela also..Even Martin Luther King and Abraham Lincoln are good..
