In a specific way you cant, but you can imagine it as a sum of complex functions such as (sen, cos, tan, cotan...). You should investigate Fourier Series

You really can't. That's why mathematics is so important to science. It lets us deal with things for which there are no descriptive words from ordinary, everyday experience.
