The meaning behind dreaming of snakes-The snake is your emotional, mental, and sexual energy that can express pleasure or pain, sexual drive, ideas, depressed feelings, happiness, anger,or movement. The snake is the instinctive flow of life.If the snake bites you, this describes how your own emotional and sexual energy has been turned back upon you in a negative way through anxiety, perhaps through a way of life that depresses you or makes you feel angry and resentful. The snake is your own potential.Do not be afraid.Learn from it,for the snake is an ancient wise part of you.Find out how you are out of harmony with it or yourself. The colour of the snake tells you in what way your potential energy is expressing. For instance, green might be that you are finding healing or growth.Red could be passion or anger.Hope I was of some help.

There is something in your life that you are afraid to face or deal with. You are trying to run away from it. The snake just represent the thing that you want to avoid.
So think about what has been going on and what it is that you may not want to deal with. THEN TAKE CARE OF IT. then your dreams will end.

Very difficult to believe even if true reasons are given !
There could be a possibility that your perception level is
attempting to deepen due to conditions happening on its own !
One counter check is that , if you are feeling somewhat loose
within yourself (not stuck in the body or mind... meaning you
are not only calm during waking hours, but also are able to
be a sort of witness to mind, thoughts, and to certain extent,
even body), then, the above could be significant.
Or else, if the awareness during waking hours is just as usual,
then some other un-noticed simple unimportant reason, like, some TV channel visuals of snake, films, talk etc stored as an
undigested thought, remaining dormant, and trying to surface
as dreams, when you have relatively less control over mind due to sleep state !

As per Hindu as well as Islamic way of dream interpretation, a snake biting you in your dreams means that some enemy is going to hurt you in a very big way. However, if the snake dies after biting you, then it means that you will defeat your enemy.
As per Freud, a snake in dream means you need sex.

To see a snake or be bitten by one in your dream, signifies hidden fears and worries that are threatening you. Your dream may be alerting you to something in your waking life that you are not aware of or that has not yet surfaced. The snake may also be seen as phallic and thus symbolize dangerous and forbidden sexuality. The snake may also refer to a person around you who is callous, ruthless, and can't be trusted. As a positive symbol, snakes represent transformation, knowledge and wisdom. It is indicative of self-renewal and positive changes.

I think you are a spiritual person.Wise people say when Kundalini is awakened (spiritual power) this types of dreams appear. If my estimate of yours is true, seek a spiritual master to get personal guidance.Or pray intensely your personal God and meditate for the time being.
