Someone told me that, and I think its bull. I've had a baby and experience orgasm just as easy and frequently as before, as many as 9 in one session before I am too worn out. Even right after I was all healed up, and I had a major episiotomy. But is this a problem for other mothers, or was this person just making an assumption?

It's not true. I suppose some women do have fewer orgasms though because it is harder to find time, energy, and privacy for sex after having kids.

I think it actually is more of a psycological thing than it is a physical thing. Per se, if childbirth was especially traumatic or the mother is overwhelmed at parenting or just too tired and/or too stressed out then mentally sex may not be as enjoyable or she may find it more difficult to relax and enjoy the ride like she did before. If that is the case, hopefully, time will smooth it out otherwise it could become a very longterm problem. In my opinion, if there is no outwardly physical reason for the lack of orgasms then maybe counseling would help.

Well I have had 5 kids and things are no different for myself in that department. Childbirth does`nt affect the clitoris just the inside of the vagina. I had a bad tear also grade 3 and needed to be rushed to theatre after first baby. My hubby can still satisfy me even after all that!

That is BS it depends on the guy if he is not affected by the birth which some guys are, then the woman could be just as happy as before, once again it depends on the man!! What a *****!! If they where breast fed enough we are okay if not we are f***ed!!!!

the only way you would is if you suffer from fatigue (ie, from taking care of the kids) or if you have some pelvic floor weakness- which can be improved with exercise.
