Generic term for a container of that shape.

I wouldn't call it a glass. I'd call it a cup.

Or a steel tumbler.

It's just a thing with me. A glass has to be made of glass.

If it has a handle and is sort of tall I call it a mug.

But I think some people call every drink container a glass, and that probably is the best answer to your specific question.

In English, pretty much anything you drink out of is called a 'glass' (unless it's a 'goblet', a 'cup', a 'tumbler', or a 'mug' ☺)

And why did you call it a 'tumbler' when a tumbler is a part of the mechanism of a key lock? ☺

English is a real pain in the αss, isn't it? Even for us native speakers it's sometimes confusing ☺
