It is Tejo mahalaya. It is a shiva temple. it was jus renamed by shah jahan as Taj mahal and the worst part is that he made the sculpters over write the islamic descriptions over the Hindu descriptions sculpted on the walls. He only spoilt. He never built Taj mahal. u better go visit bbc news website where they have beautiful and perfect explantions and proof to say that its tejo mahalaya with pictures..

i think it was called mumtaz mahal after shah jahan's wife,later they changed it to tajmahel.
