I was considering going to school to become a Physician Assistant. Does anybody now the differences between the PA program and the Nurse Practitioner program and what program is better. Also how does the job outlook and pay looks for both of them.

Thanks

Well, both are in demand. But physician assistants do make alot more money, we are starting to see more and more PA's coming up in hospitals and small clinics, because some clinics can't afford a real physician. There arent many PA programs in the country so you would have to do your research. Nurse Practitioner you would most likely have to be a nurse first before you become a NP. The job outlook is vast and broad, you would just have to see what's in demand in your area. Meanwhile just concentrate on your grades and learning the material. Both make decent money, PA's of course make much more.

I think both jobs are in high demand with the baby boomers becoming elderly. I would check the local job market in your area. I know the nursing will prepare you for a variety of things in the health field so you will be more flexible, but the burn out rate is higher.

get a activity interior the wellness occupation ASAP. CNA is person-friendly. maximum PA classes require a minimum of one thousand hours of affected person touch as a fashion to prepare. circulate to three PA college web pages and digital mail their admissions asking what varieties of affected person touch hours paintings out nicely for many pupils.
