I was talking to my buddy and he told me something which i find really disgusting...
He told me that his aunt got raped when she was 14 (in alabama, 13 years ago) and the 51 yr old man only went to jail for 6 years. He only got tried for rape, not pedophelia or anything.
Anyway, I did know that in some states in the US, the legal age of sexual consent is as low as 14 and am wondering why they chose such a ridiculously low age and why the hell its okay for pedophiles to rape little girls?
i mean, i think that sex should be someones personal choice and if a 13 yr old, for example, wants to have sex, thats their personal business and choice but i think it should be illegal for them to have sex with someone much older. I mean i understand two little kids just experimenting and being curious (like i was... i was 15 with a 14 1/2 yr old. we were both curiou) but a little kid and an adult is a whole different story.

You DO bring up a very point abount age discrepancy, but please don't forget that rape is not about sex but about VIOLENCE; it's a CONTROL thing, and maybe these angry men are STILL afraid of women their own age even though they can physically overpower them so they take out their violent rage on young defenseless girls.

Hopefully, every state will pass the Jessica law to stop this abominable acts. In Alabama, they just passed a law where on the drivers license of an pedophile info is publicly known. I believe it is great!

yep... but where do you draw the line? ... Is ok with a 15 and 14 year old? 22 and 14 would be a stretch, but what about 18 and 14?... 16? ... Gotta have some kind of rules somewhere.

SEX OUTSIDE OF MARRIAGE IS WRONG.
OLD MEN WHO TOUCH CHILDREN SHOULD BE SHOT.
A BOY OR GIRL UNDER THE AGE OF 18 SHOULD BE PROTECTED UNDER THE LAW AGAINST SEXUAL PREDATORS.
CHILDREN 15 YEARS OLD CAN STILL GET PREGNANT,GET AIDS OR OTHER DISEASE.
ADULTS HAVE A DUTY TO PROTECT THEM.WHEN CHILDREN HAVE SEX THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE BODY.
A GROWN UP THINKS WITH THEIR BRAIN,A CHILD WITH THEIR HORMONES.
JUST BECAUSE A PERSON IS IN AN ADULT BODY ,DOES NOT MEAN HE THINKS WITH HIS BRAIN.

Laws need to be updated!
In a town not far from us it is illegal for a black person to walk around after dark.....don't figure!
