i got syphilis 35 yeras ago .treated wit mercury capsules and test results were negative. Is is tranferable to my childern.during pregenany all results of my wife are negative

If this is worrying you, it should be discussed with your doctor, but after 35 years and negative tests, it sounds to me like you are probably in the clear, and just need reassurance.

If you are VDRL negative you can not transmit the disease. Moreover you can have a course of Penicillin even now .

I am not sure, but I do know that it is very dangerous for humans to ingest mercury.
