My father bought a hard cover book back in the 80s for me and my sister, we no longer have it and i want to get it, it was a book of stories about wizards, dragons, goblins and other mytholagy farie tales.

It was hard back and good sized, it was black and had a picture of a gobblin and a wizard that i can remember. Maybe even a gnome?

Was it the Lord of the Rings? Or maybe Grimms Fairy Tales? There are really a lot of books like that and more detail would really help.

so it was a collection of stories? I would say search ebay. there is obviously a reason you are asking to find it again, as if to say it was influential...or greatly affected you. perhaps it is a popular pc of american pop culture and could be found for sale on ebay :)

there are soooo many books like that. Fantasy is such a huge genre. you've got to narrow it down more than that...
