at that age girls mature a bit faster than boys. He is still just a little boy and will not be seriously interested in going out with girls until he's about 15-16. Talk to your daughter and tell her that she needs to wait a bit before playing kissy-kissy with boys.

It depends on the intention of the kiss and the mentality of the child. If she's already become a big girl, then you better concern about them in a positive manner. Because, during the period of that rapid change, many wonderful feelings arise in their minds. Was the boy is also a teenager? Maybe there's a problem with the boy, to tell his parents that a girl kissed him. Who doesn't want a kiss from a girl ???

It's just part and parcel of growing up. The boy was probably excited about the kiss he received. Maybe that was the first kiss he received from a girl. These are sheepish little memories that we somehow retain in our heads and carry them with us to our graves. I'd 'trumpet' it to my parents too if I had my first kiss from a boy!

Perhaps you could sit down with your daughter instead and open up about relationship issues to her. She's after all going through the puberty stage of her life. It would bring the girl a lot of comfort if her own mother shared her own memories of youth with her.

What a ridiculous question. Are you suggesting that you would like to restrict the boy's ability to talk to his own parents? About anything? Even if it was politically incorrect for the boy to tell his parents, are you seriously suggesting that you would like to somehow control what the boy says and doesnt say to his parents? Are you nuts? Let your daughter kiss. Its part of life. Let the boy tell who he wants. Its part of life. They are both being themselves. Let live. Get a life yourself.

WOW are you serious. These days that should be one of your very least worries. Girls that age are having sexual intercourse and there parents know all about, but they just don't care. Look what our world has come too. I didn't know what masturbation was until 14. Look at the 11 yr olds having sex.

I think it's okay to tell your parents, especially if they have questions about some emotions they may be feeling. At 12 we are just beginning to discover

Depends on what kind of relationship they have with their parents... I would have never told my parents because they would think it so CUTE... and I would not have heard the end of it so it just depends... are you okay with it, just depends on the parents.
