3x-9=-10
3(x-3)=-10
x-3=-3.33
x=-3.33+3
x=-0.33

sub X

3y=-0.33+5
3y=4.66
y=1.55

3y = x+5 3x-9 = -10
3x-9 = -10
3x = -10+9
3x = -1
x = -1/3

3y = x+5
3y = -1/3+5
3y(3) = (-1/3) (3) + 5*3
9y = -1+15
9y = 14
y = 14/9
y = 1.55

3x-9=-10
3x=-10+9
3x=-1
divide both sides by 3, thus remaining x in one side
x= -1/3

substituting x in the equation:
3y=x+5
3y=-1/3+5
3y= -4.67
y=1.56

3x-y=-10
3y-x=5

multiply seecond equation by 3
3x-y=-10
9y-3x=15

by substracting them:
8y=5, y=8/5
x=-58/5
