Everytime i need to watch a video or something on a website it says i need to install flash player etc.Well i did like a hunderd times and everytime i go to the website it says you already have the latest version and that it installed correctly but then when i go to use it for something the video wont play and it will say need to download flash player its driving me crazy.I tried uninstalling too and no help.

I had same message awhile back...I downloaded the updated flash player and still got message.

I cleared out my cache and temporary files etc...and it worked, I guess it was still looking at my earlier attempts to download and view those particular videos.

Could also be because you have certain options (in your Internet Options folder or in your antivirus program) selected. You'd need to check those out.....and possibly...a firewall conflict?

Try this to make sure you've really uninstalled everything. There is an Active X control in the registry that does not delete in the normal uninstall.
