So here’s my question. I’ve been starting this rock, but as of late I have been going to church with my grandma and she just started singing gospel music(something she’s always wanted to do) I’ve been thinking about giving up my band before we got going good and helping support her by getting her up a backing band and being in that band. I am 21 now. What should I do? Stick to my rock band or support her and help with the gospel music?

Well, which do you prefer? How do your other band members feel? Has your grandma actually ASKED you for your help? I personally think the gospel band and helping your grandma is a nice gesture, but what good would it be if your heart wasn't in it? Do some soul searching and you'll come up with the answer that is right for you.

You can do both... I hear that Christian Heavy Metal is quite popular in some circles. They try to neutralize its image as a Satanic-dominated music.
