In Windows 2000 we were using the 'Net Meeting' option for this purpose. But for some strange reason(s) we could not achieve the same effect with Windows XP.

You could use VNC like UltraVNC. Go to http://ultravnc.com/
and download VNC. Then run Ultravnc Server on your computer and put in a password that you will give your students. You will neeed to open port 5900 on your computer, and give your students your IP address for your computer and then they can all connect to your computer and see what you do. Also check the "Disable users inputs" to avoid your students messing with the screen .. a bit complicated but it should work for you.

If you do want to continue Net Meeting my guess is that some of the neccesary ports for Net Meeting are closed on your computer or router..

Hope this helps..

Click Start then Run and type 'conf'.

Netmeeting should still be there. Doesn't get put on the menu every time.
