How long have you had this pain? If a short time, probably not cancer. Feel around for lumps. Might also be a pulled muscle. If the pain continues, you need to see your doctor.

Not necessarily. It could just be a muscle strain or a cyst. You should do a self exam and see if you can feel any lumps. Or go to your doctor. You just never know what could be going on.

Most likely not. By and large, most cancers are painless in the early stages.

It sounds like an infected lymph node to me, but regardless, you should go see your doc.
