My friends call me as freak just because I like football too much and I talk about football with my boyfriend.They (my friends) say that it's not a good topic to be discussed with my boyfriend.I'm a girl,but I don't think that's an excuse to call me a freak simply because I like football too much.Although my friends still befriend me in the way they used too,I feel a little bit disappointed.

don't mind them, girl. my girl friends are all football crazy and i think they're all the more interesting bec. of it. there's no need for your to feel disappointed with your friends. if you really like them, try to show a bit more interest in the things they're passionate about whenever you're with them and who knows, they might reciprocate with you, too. if not, that's okay. there's still your bf to talk and enjoy football with. just remember, you're no freak and if you ask me i think you're being a football fan is way cool.

Not at all. There are many female football fans around the world who are unashamedly in love with the game. Don't ever let people make you feel there is something wrong with you simply because your ideas and passions do not conform with their own.It's natural to feel hurt or disappointed by the opinions of those you endear to yourself but ultimately you must follow what makes you happy. You are a lovely person and have no reason to feel any differently. Chin up and take care.

No, they are the freaks for not liking Football as much as you and all of us. I know it's hard to find friends who can share the exact same ideas and passions and that's why we find you here but keep at it and if you live near a stadium, try to meet some new friends there.
In a way you are lucky for being able to talk Football with your boyfriend, my husband doesn't even like Football but, hey, I like it for two.

Not if you enjoy it. Don't look at it as being bad thing. And if your friends can't except the fact you like soccer then get more friends. By the way I'm a football freak too and proud or it but it's the american version.

My problem exactly.I dont have a boyfrnd or anything..but when i talk to guys in my class abt football all the grls say"ohmigawd r u lyk outta ur lyk mind??How can u talk abt lyk such a stoopid topic wid lyk such a lyk HAWT guy!!"
But the guys dont thik anything ,they just think im cool enough to talk sumthing useful ,sumthing which involves a much better topic than last nights Desperate housewives,or how seth kissed summer on the OC,bla blah blah...Anyways,what u r doing messi ,is completely correct dont give a damn to ur frnds ok,fyn theyre your frnds but if they really were your frnds,they wouldnt demoralize you like this..

I am obsessive about things to. I avoid blabing about it to people who could care less however when a deep passion in your eyes is shown to others it does something to people. When I see it in people (whatever subject) I really appreciate it as so many people don't care about anything at least you have one thing you love alot. Maybe it would be better to post how much you love your boyfirend but hey no harm no foul (no pun) :P

i dont know it depends on the country u live in in my country it is permissible to be extra obssessed with foot ball am sure its fine brazil am a girl and i love football i would not think you are a freak

Everyone is a freak in their own way.
For me, I'm a football freak, a NASCAR freak, a Jesus freak, and whatever kind of other freak that I am but not yet aware of lol.

I have such problem too!
No one can understand my crazy mind,which is sick because of footbal and Fabio Cannavaro!
They say that I'm paranoiac and that I can't speak about something else!
But I can of course,I'm not stub,hehe,so you're not alone!
