I have had just about had enough of men thinking that they are better... I see women doing the same jobs and some women who put in just as much effort and run a house hold... don't you think that we have to force some respect and recognition onto men?

I don't think I really AM fighting for women's rights. I didn't know they didn't have rights. My understanding is that they DO have the same rights as men. Of course they may not be paid the same as men but that is not the same as not having the same rights as men. I don't think that men and women are the same in all things. Men are generally stronger and more athletic. Women are often more refined and caring. Men tend to be more aggressive and obnoxious while women are generally more demure and sensitive.

My wife and I certainly are not the same. If I thought men and women were the same I would have married a man. I don't treat my wife like a man--I treat her like a lady. I open the car door for her (not while the car is moving, of course) and I've taught my sons to do the same. I NEVER, EVER had my wife pay for a meal, movie, or dance while we were dating. I opened doors for her and let her enter first, I still stand up whenever she enters a room. After 26 years of blissful marriage I still have never, EVER belched or let rip with other uncouth habits in front of my wife. Not one belch in 26 years--I think too highly of her. But I'm not out picketing in front of some business because they don't pay women enough. I think that the best way to treat women is place them on a pedestal and make their life as nice as physically possible for as long as you two are together.

Maybe that's why we've been married longer than about 90% of all married couples in the United States.

As your question clearly demonstrates, there is only one thing that men and women have in common - the preservation of disorder between themselves.

When challenged with how to live their lives in relation to women, or asked inane questions like, 'How are you fighting for womens rights?' (which is grammatically incorrect, by the way - it is 'women's'), men feel themselves confused about the views women have of the modern world, most notably because men have been so busy dedicating so much of their time to competing among themselves that they have chosen not to notice the important changes women have made in their lives. Because now, as you once again demonstrate in your question, women believe very deeply that men must no longer be left in exclusive control of making a disaster of everything. As a consequence, women began, and continue, their long and arduous fight to claim their legitimate share of the blame for all that is still wrong with the world.

So, what are YOU doing to acknowledge your share of the problems you create?

Yes. Completely. "real" jobs have breaks in them. You only have to work so long, and then you can quit, relax, and sleep. Women who have families and work get to do that job all day, come home, and begin a second job which never gives them a break. I don't think we should have to force the respect though. The thing that annoys me though is that women who work and have kids are just seen as being women, maybe even as abandoning their children. Men who do this are seen as amazing, struggling to keep the family together. It's the same thing. Urk.

Women are respected as much as men, its like racism, its what you choose to see.....There are more women executives in the US now then ever before. Women can give birth (I'd like to see a man try it without cracking under the pressure), Women are life bearers, not just giving birth but the nurturing and emotional aspect that many men lack, its like a puzzle. You cant complete the puzzle without one another.....

If anything, women get more respect than men do. Men are now deeply into self-depracating humor about themselves and their masculinity. Hence Tim Allen.

What am I doing for women's rights? Nothing. Nothing whatsoever. I am just going to sit back and watch the men on the U.S. Supreme Court continue to render decisions re-affirming Roe v. Wade and make decisions like the ones concerning the Virginia Military Institute. There are already plenty of men bending over backwards (not forwards, teehee) to do everything they can to help the obviously not-helpless women. Those men don't need by help. I am staying away from the voting booth for the rest of my life.

because females nonetheless do no longer have an same rights and freedoms in society as adult adult males do, even in 1st international international places, together with the US. the right to make certain on an abortion contained in the US has been attacked for decades and a secure legal abortion is not any longer realistically accessible in some states at present. kin violence regulations contained in the US are stronger than they were contained in the previous, yet they are nonetheless restricted and are frequently weakly enforced. females are extremely regularly murdered by skill of companions or ex companions. As a lifelike count, a woman can assume to have restricted career opportunities and reduce repayment over her career than a guy interior an same career with equivalent preparation. The salary hollow is diminished somewhat from 30 years in the past in spite of the indisputable fact that it nonetheless is important (i imagine it really is round 23%), and it truly is with better females now going for better preparation on prevalent than adult adult males. females are in aproximately 15% of politically elected or appointed positions and eight% of administration positions contained in the US. And in Islamic and many different third international international places, females do not actually have lots of the straightforward rights that Western females get excitement from at present because different courageous adult adult males and females fought for them. yet i extremely ought to ask why are you framing your rights question as an both/or component? This extremely comes right down to Human rights that are an same for all human beings. Edit: i'm 16 too and planning to be a accepted practitioner. And certain i need it if me and my lady friend were waiting to marry if we needed. #2 Ouch, i'm sorry Z, i did not recommend it as coming down on you for asking an honest question and that i wish it did not come off that way! :(

Apparently you need a different man. Or perhaps a woman?
What is it you want?
I dont think men think they are better, men just dont think about it at all.
If you need attention, address your significant other. I cant fight for ya. Dont want to. Not because I think I'm better, but its your goal, its your problem.
I respectfully recognize your question.

How do I fight for women's rights? By openly telling people about my stands on politics as well as supporting the LBGT community (and being part of it) since they are usually pro-feminists. Oh, and I guess it helps when I tell guys that I'm a wrestler. They usually get the hint that I can kick their ***...

respect and recognition dont come by force. it's good if a wife hepls her husband and also helps running a house hold. it's just if your husband is smart to appreciate your efforts, otherwise he must be blind.

i appreciate my wife.
