I feel uncomfortable specifying my conditions, but here goes: every morning I feel dizzy and nausious. I feel out of energy constantly and for a while now I've been slightly bleeding - bleeding in between periods (yes I've still been having periods). Sometimes there are tissue like fragments in the in-between period "blood". I don't understand why my body has been spazzing for a while now. Also, my nipples have been extremely sore. If not pregnancy, what could this be? Is this out of ordinary? Can one be pregnant for a long time and not notice it showing?

you have endometriosis, get to your doctor, it can lead to cancer if you dont get it treated, it messes with your hormones too which can make your nipples sore. im glad you got the guts up to ask, i had cancer due to this very condition that went on for ten years before anyone knew what was wrong with me.

All the symptoms that you enumerated are probable signs of pregnancy but it does not confirm a positive pregnancy. The best thing for you to do to know if you are pregnant is to get a pregnancy test then go to a OB-GYN. A positive pregnancy test is not 100% reliable so it's still best to consult a doctor. The real positive signs of pregnancy are fetal movement, audible fetal heart tone and an ultrasound confirmation. The other signs are either probable or presumptive only because it could also be symptoms of other things and not necessarily pregnancy.

I hope this helps you.

I have a friend who found out she was pregnant five hours before her son was born. How?

1) She was very overweight, so she didn't show.
2) She has very infrequent periods, so lack of period didn't clue her in.
3) She has irritable bowel syndrome, and the kicking of the baby felt like her intestines shifting around
4) She had the flu for about two months at the beginning of her pregnancy, so her morning sickness was hidden by that.

Yes, you can be pregnant and not know. Some women have periods almost through their entire pregnancy, for example. You may want to see a doctor? Your other symptoms DO sound like pregnancy to me, but I am not a doctor.

Yes..there are instances that you still bleed even if pregnant...some of it due to vaginal polyp which bleeds periodically. But the best way to know if you're pregnant is to have a pregnancy test. Its very simple and can be done at home. Kits are available over the counter in your local drugstores. Go to your doctor and have yourself checked.

Yes, definitely.

I have worked in a hospital (I'm not a nurse or doctor) and heard lots of stories of women not realizing they are pregnant. I heard of one slight woman who never even needed maternity clothes, but came into emerg because she was having "cramps" and a few hours later, out popped a healthy, term baby. The woman only had to loosen the waist of her jeans a little!!

Many women have been told by their doctor as late as 6 months that they are pregnant!

A 15 year old, how lived down our street, last year gave birth to her child in her bedroom, left the baby outside (she didn't know what to do). Her siblings and mother with whom she lived with didn't even notice any change in her. I suspect the girl did know she was pregnant, but was too shy or ashamed to seek medical care during her pregnancy

Go see your doctor. I know someone who was pregnant and she didn't know it until she was 32 weeks into it. She had the baby during week 35. Make sure you see your doctor or go to planned parenthood right away.
