I would turn this country in to a socialist country. Free healthcare, education, and less of a gap between the rich and the poor. You see with socialism in place people could work at wal mart and make minimum wage, and still have health care, and be able to send their kids to school. Soicalism usually takes around 70% of total ioncome, so it would be difficult to be rich, however overall quality of life would probably significantly rise.

Increase spending on education so that people can think for themselves in order to eradicate ignorance.
By that, I don't mean having people agreeing on all issues, but at least they can use their minds to think issues through rather than be swept by rhetoric and what others think.

Remove all ILLEGAL aliens here sucking off of our tax dollars. NOT ALL ALIENS only the illegal ones that don't pay any income tax into the coffers they drink so deeply from. If they were all removed we would have billions and billions and billions of dollars for schools, prisons, parks, picnic sites, police and fire fighters etc...
But instead that money often goes to pay for Maria Garcia Romero Jiminez Arturo's ninth welfare baby.

2, free your mind from worries
3. live simply
4. give more
5. expect less
