I had daily bloody noses with my first child... In my 4th month my grandmother suggested capsicum pills (Take with a slice of bread and glass of milk to avoid stomach upset) The capsicum is all natural and really helped I went from daily nose bleeds to maybe 1 a month...

I talked to my Dr. and he said Capsicum is cayenne pepper it's a natural coagulant and was completely harmless to both me and the baby... If it helped taking it... 1 pill a day.. 1 nose bleed a month....

When my son was 9 he began having cronic nose bleeds, rolling over on the pillow at night would cause a bleed... I gave him capsicum for a week and now he takes 1 tablet with his morning vitamins every other day and no nose bleeds other than from injury (skateboard accident he broke his nose) since...

First of all congrats .Should be any day now right? I've got a 4 yr old girl and an almost 2 yr old boy and I'm 20 weeks along with another boy. Yes bloody noses are commen in pregnancy, not all women get them but... getting a stuffy nose at night is completely normal for being pg. It's even in a lot of books as a sign of being pg. Weird huh? I don't know why but your nose drying out is a symptom of being pregnant believe it or not and getting a bloody nose is easy when your nose dries out. I get bloody noses more often when I am pregnant. You should try some nose sprays, not the decongestion ones just the saline or however you spell that lol. Good luck with your new baby!

I have always had nose bleeds due to having very fragile skin, but during pregnancy it was unbelievable! Every morning, when I took a shower I'd have a monster gusher-very unsettling. Almost went to the ER a few times. I actually had to plan my mornings around it. My hubby hated it most of all, though, because he is grossed out by the mere thought of a nosebleed. I had to clean the frigging shower every day after I took a shower, or he wouldn't use it. Then I would get another one from bending over into the tub to wash it. We're trying for number 2, and if he pulls this stuff this time around he's go another thing coming... LOL

I'm not,but I would suggest that you rather have lots of water to drink . You have the same experience with my friend, she had a bloody nose with she woke up in the morning too and she drink a lot water.

Your nostril makes mucus to lure filth and crud within the air earlier than it will get to the lungs. Unfortunately there also are fragile blood vessels within the center of the nostril that may bleed from drying out within the dry iciness air, or from allergy symptoms or different irritations. These little blood vessels can bleed and it almost always comes out the nostrils, however too can simply variety of labor it is long ago up and across the mucus. The mucus holds it in position somewhat greater, up within the nostril, however ultimately that bloody mucus unearths its manner out, and you then get your first-rate bloody snot. Use a humidifier in case your air is dry, use saline spray and even vaseline to hold your nostril wet. Don't use drying medications like decongestants, or blow your nostril too difficult. You do not have to be involved. You might feel it is hazardous, however it is snot. (lame shaggy dog story)
