How can this be solved using the poisson distribution?

You can imagine that there is a machine which put 5 marbles in every box randomly. Because marbles are half blue and half red, the probability of being red for the first marble is 50% or 1/2 and it is the same for the second, third, forth and fifth one. Therefore, the probability of getting only red in a box is: (1/2) x (1/2) x (1/2) x (1/2) x (1/2) = (1/2)^5 = 1/32.

The way you've stated the problem, it's 0 since a box has both red *and* blue marbles.
