I've never been to boston, just was curious to know how it is, what are the people like? are they friendly, down to earth? is there alot to do?

Boston is a great city. It has a big city feel, but so many things are close and within walking distance. Very young crowd due to all the colleges in the area. Nice water for walking to jogging near, along the Charles River. Tons of places to eat. Good bars. Beautiful changing of seasons. . . .Same as everywhere though, there are some nice people and some . . not. LOL

Boston is an amazing city. Tons of clubs, thousands of up-and-coming bands, many great places to shop and pieces of history are everywhere.
The people here are friendly, but you usually have to make the first move to strike up a conversation. Ask us for help in any way and not a single one would turn you down.
There is an unbelievable number of things to do in Boston. You name it we have it. Thanks to the number of colleges and the high population college students, Boston is always active and youthful, yet it maintains an old time feel and beams with the pride of our ancestors.
It is, however, difficult to pinpoint the "must see" things to anyone, because there are so many. What sort of activities did you have in mind?
I guess you just have to see it in person to really understand what I mean.... so come on over for a visit.... you'll be glad you did.

Boston is a great City! I live here, it's very historic . Please do not let the Big Dig Dilema stop you from this great place... Lots to do and lots of nightlife, shopping, the ocean and of course our great New England weather, well all except the winters...

ahh i love boston...
i want to go to fenway park!!! GO RED SOX!
it's a really pretty city.. especially at night!
ya most people are friendly, and theres plenty to do in the city.
oh and the boston accent isnt weird... its awesome!

i live in voston and yes there is alot to do and most of the people are very nice and respectful [ depening on where you wanna go]

just like new york, but people are cleaner....I go there every year and hit up the irish pubs...can't beat them
