Anyone else early on in the pregnancy get bouts of dizziness, where it seems like the room is spinning? Started happening today to me, and lasted for about an hour. First noticed it when I stood up, and it just stayed from there. I am currently 4 weeks and a bit pregnant. This is my second baby, but I didn't get anything like this with my daughter.

Dizziness during pregnancy is a very common symtom - with many reasons for it. I would always recommend talking to your doctor about any symtoms that you are worried about as this symtom could be a sign of some kind of problem. Here is a really good link to a site with some help for the dizziness:

If you don't feel that this helps you - then I would definetely contact your OB/GYN. It wouldn't hurt to mention it at your next check up anyway. Good luck and take care of yourself.

You may be anemic hun. Try eating some red meat, spinach, malto meal helps. I am 20 weeks along, I start each morning with a bowl of instant malt o meal or hot cereal and a banana. It's helps. And I make sure I have a good steak a few times a week lol. But I also love spinach. I am very anemic, for a lot of different reasons, and of course every pregnancy is different. You don't want to take iron pills unless your doctor tells you to it can cause constipation. Tell your doctor that you think you may be anemic they will do a blood test and then tell you what you should do. But really the best way is like I said before. You could also be deydrated drink more water. Hope this helps.

I just read that someone said that dizziness could be a sign of a misscarriage. Don't listen to that plz. I can't believe someone would say that to you. Fatigue and dizziness are completely normal it's just pinpointing what is causing it for you and trying to ease it as much as possible. Could be lack of eating and the other things I mentioned before. Don't panic and don't worry about a misscarriage. Good luck hun!

That happened to me too. I had read just don't get up to fast, sit there and if you haven't ate make sure that you have you a little snack beside you. It always worked for me. I am 35 almost 36 weeks pregnant and I still get it.

I had random dizziness throughout my pregnancy. Just make sure you're not over doing it and get plenty of rest.

Congratulations!
