The first answer is incorrect. The first meeting between the two was actually on February 22, 1893 (part of the 1892 season) in Birmingham, won by Auburn 32-22.

Alabama leads the all-time series between the two 38-31-1. This year's meeting will only be the sixth time the game has been played in Tuscaloosa, whereas the two have only played 8 times at Auburn. The vast majority of the games in this series have been played in Birmingham.
