I was 15. We all mature at different ages. Unless you are sexually active there is no reason to see a doctor for this. You are just blessed in not having to deal with periods yet. Be thankful sweety.

No, probably not. Assuming that she is not sexually active, the late start of the period is probably just due to the particular girl's hormones. Some girls just start later than others. But I know it will probably nag at you, so to make sure (and to be on the safe side) visit a doctor and or gynecologist for a routine exam. Some women don't start until 16, though.

It would depend on the individual. Some girls like me get it when they are 9 and others as late as 16 or 17. Everyone is different. The average age is 12-15. If you feel there is a problem consult your doctor for a regular physcial.

No, she should not unless she is sexually active. Some women have their periods around the age of 15 n some may have their periods around the age of 7. Sweetie its probably meaning that ur body haven't caught up with ur age yet who knows. Put check with ur obgy first, because they could get u the help that u need. Good Luck!

No, I wouldn't worry too much. Some girls don't start until their late teens. Usually the age her mum started is the age a young girl will start her periods, so ask her mum when she started. There should be no problems. If she's really worried, go ask her doctor.

No, i don't think she has anything to be worried about. Everybody body is different, everybody develops differently and at different times. I would be happy if i still haven't started my period at 14 years old. Look at it as a good thing and don't rush things its normal.

If you mean her first period, There is nothing at all to be worried about. Girls start at a time when their body is ready for it. I was fifteen when I got my first period, and my cousin was close to sixteen. There is no set age to start you period, whenever your body says so.

no, some start early, some start late. it just differs. I didnt start until i was 16. I wanted it too because i thought i would get breast and all my friends had their period but once i got it, it sucked! And women continue to grow until they hit 19 -20. guys quit at 18 but women continue to grow. I didnt get my breast until i hit college and then i loved them...then i lost them when i had my first kid...anyways, thats another story..;-) dont be in a hurry for it, it will come.
