You should be arrested, not for the sex, but for the horrible crime of getting a girl pregnant. There was no reason you couldn't use birth control and condoms? You should be ashamed of yourself and remember this tragedy you brought about for the rest of your life.

I trust she's planning and you're supporting her choice to get an abortion? It's not enough to exist a child has to be wanted in order to live happily and thrive.

Adoption is not an option. The separation from one's mother after giving it up for adoption is no better than killing it. Deep down to its core it will always know it's mother abandoned it and it is unlovable, alone, and less than half a person. There is no overcoming such early deep loss.

Keeping it would ruin three lives, as you're too young to care for it properly, and you have your lives to build before you are ready to care for others.

statutory rape definition:
Sexual relations with a person who has not reached the statutory age of consent.

Since 18 is the legal age of consent in Oregon for both males and females, neither 14 or 16 can be considered capable of consent according to strict interpretation of the definition. I've never heard of pregnancy being a determining factor of whether or not statutory rape occurred, other than there's the distinct possibility of DNA evidence proving sex occurred.

Prego is a pasta sauce... besides the age of consent for Oregon is eighteen. So she would be in a position to be charged with any of here, statutory rape, sexual attack, rape of a baby, corruption of a minor, carnal awareness of a minor, unlawful carnal awareness. there is not any if, ands, or buts approximately this difficulty. he's a minor who's considered as no longer able to offer criminal consent to sexual concerns. good success

Carol Z. is correct; one must be over 18. The law does not believe that minors know what they want, so it doesn't matter if they were "both willing." Pregnancy has no effect on the statuatory rape offense.

... I really hope you didn't get her pregnant. I would basically die if I had a baby at 14.

yes it is statutory rape even though both are willing. that willingness doesn't matter you were both under the legal age of consent. if he/she doesn't press charges his/her parents if they want to can press charges against the other even though you were both willing.

Yes it is. If you are found to be capable at the age of 16, she is a minor! But I think they could let you off for being mentally retarded. WTF were you thinking? My suggestion keep it in your pants till your old enough to use it properly and responsibly... for certain people that will be about when their 87, by that time we could only hope that they won't be able to infect the human gene pool.

in my state it would be considered sexual assault of a minor under 16. if your lucky you wont be charged as an adult. even though you are not 18 it can happen. there is a loophole. since you were also a minor the girl could be charged as well. since it was consensual. you wouldnt believe how many of those cases get dropped because of that.

It shouldn't be stat.rape if both consenting parties are minors......It's only stat. rape if one is over 18.
