My boyfriend says that tweezers will work just fine. And it's true that they don't leave any red bumps. But is there a faster way? A way that is safe and cheap? He also mentioned that if you put a lot of heat on the spot after tweezing it that it will take longer to grow back (that sounds painful to me!) is that true?

i am assuming you are just doing a few hairs and not all of them?
tweezers work but it HURTS!!!!! For small areas you can get an electric nose hair plucker for just a couple bucks at Wal-Mart. Yeah sounds dumb i know but it works a heck of a lot better than tweezers and is a lot less painful. They are battery operated and i think they cost like $4-$5 at most.
If you want to do the whole bikinii area then it's easiest to just use a good ladies razor. NOT electric. Just a plain hand held razor. Ladies Gillette Mach 3 works perfectly! Use shaving foam specifically made for bikin area - can get at almost any dollar store - lather up and shave. It's the smoothest cleanest shave you can get.
Good luck. For even better results and more fun - have the BF do it for you. :-)

Have you ever tweezed your eyebrows it hurts ALOT! I wouldn't tweeze my pubic hair if someone payed me a million dollars. Hunny the one way that i have found to be effective is to use a mach 3 mens razor and shave everyday this is faster and cheaper. I've tryed wax and creams, heat, and cold if there is a products or idea out there i have tryed it, OH yeah also heat only irritates the area more and cause redness and bumps it does not make hair grow back slower. of course there is always laser hair removal done by a doctor.

OMG TWEEZING. ouch i don't want to even think about that. Well you could shave but not against the growth. What i do is after i trim most of it down i put a warm wash cloth on what i am going to shave and get some anti-razor bump creme and shave with the hair. don't go over the same spot twice. try to do a little at a time over periods of time. it should work. oh and tell him to tweez his pubic hairs.

Well you CAN tweeze but it'd take forever. Try shaving after you've had warm water on the spot for a few minutes. This softens the hair and makes it less likey for red spots to occur. Never shave that area without water and be sure to have plenty of shaving cream to cause less resistence from the razor on your skin. Also try to avoid shaving that area every day b/c it can get irritated easily. You could wax...but it hurts and also leaves red. Good luck!

About applying heat to the area, I havent heard of it taking longer to grow back. But heat does open your pores, thus its less painful to tweeze your hair. It doesnt have to be painful heat. A hot shower, bath, or steam shower would be a fine amount.

WOW tweezers .... nooooo tell him to do that to him self see what he says... nd no heat wont help... the best way to be would be wax painful but easier nd longer time to grow back
a second alternative woudl be a shaver take a shower so the hair comes out more'
then apply shaving loition/cream
nd shave ...im sure you shave your legs so i dont need to describe the shaving part also you could use an electric shavor..quicker nd easier :) happy shaving

Tell your boyfriend that doing that to yourself is not your idea of a good time! NONE of the ideas about removing pubic hair are good ones. If you want that done, have him pay for a Brazilian Wax at a good shop, that specializes in hair removal!

Well, no matter what, you're going to have bumps. Shaving, waxing, tweezing, etc. it's all a result of bumps. Laser removal is about $250 and it's gone for your whole life. I HIGHLY suggest it.

What do you want to do that for?! As far as I'm concerned getting rid of pubic hair is dumb! Apart from the fact that you'll get ingrown hair, it really itches when it grows back. Most guys find it really sexy anyway.
