I have been living here since 1983, and I would like to know the opinions people have gathered, during the time they lived here or visited. Be honest, Switzerland is a land of free speech!

Sorry I have never had the opportunity as yet to go to Switzerland, one day hopefully, I have met a few Swiss people and they are lovely, honest and down to earth people, how can I not like the Swiss people, they saved many a life during the second world war and that is good enough for me.

My idea of Switzerland, which I have not had the pleasure of visiting, is of a beautiful country with some of Scotland's features, classy clocks and watches and of course Heidi and Grandfather. told you I was ignorant! I do admire the Swiss for being a neutral country with regard to politics and really would like to visit some day. Don't fancy skiing tho' too energetic, but I am all for the apres ski, as I am a complete hedonist.

I love it here, after living in the centre of London for 12 years with it's piss stenched doorways and vomit soaked pavements, I can honestly say life here smells a lot sweeter. I also like the way the government discuss, and enforce new laws is the shortest time and are not afraid to revoke it a week later if it doesn't seem to work. Legalising cannabis was a good idea, but not such a good idea when they changed the law back, now I have to go back to buying it from dodgy immigrants on the street.

Switzerland and the Swiss people are Smart...! Clean...! Cool...!
I just love they way they serenely opt-out of this dumb world, cherry-pick what suits them and turn their back on everything else. Yet they always turn this isolation to their own advantage.

No wonder the Swiss seldom travel...! Even when they do go abroad you can bet your boots it's only because they have to...! And hey...! - it sure ain't to stay...!!!

Very clever people who stay out of wars and they let the Nazis and Jews horde their wealth in Switzerland and after the war was over loaned it back to decimated countries to rebuild.
Giving their own people a high standard of living without making any sacrifice themselves for the freedom they enjoy.

I like the Swiss Rolls. Great stuff when you are hungry. Old Swiss Saying "If you are really starving, have a roll in the snow"

I love it. The fact that a country truly respects the natural rights of freedom and privacy is amazing! So much for USA being the land of the free as long as conservatives have their way.
