I don't think there is anything wrong with incest between consenting adults. The so-called arguments people give against it are based on old folklore. The same kind of folklore that had people believing that the earth was flat and that the sun revolved around the earth.
There are those who bring up genetic defects. Jerry Lewis has a telethon every Labor Day, and it is NOT "the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon For Incest Children". There are defect possibilities in any sexual union that can lead to pregnancy.
And stop with the South jokes when incest is mentioned... or do you tell Polish jokes, too. Your neighbors in Detroit, Boston, Hollywood, Memphis, Augusta, Cincinnati could be having incestual love fest. Would you turn your back to a friend you knew all your life... if she/he was making love to another member of their family? I would welcome them the same as always.

But if I must answer, the biological point of relationships is to find a suitable mate for procreation. If you reproduce with someone you are closely related to, by blood, you run the risk of creating unhealthy (mutated) offspring which is definitely NOT the point of reproduction. Women and men are (theoretically - no offense to those in different situations) biologically programmed to be attracted to a mate that will help them to produce healthy offspring. Which would make incestuous relationships counter-productive and ICKY.

Have you seen the royal families lately? The recessive genes in people in the same family are more prone to occur, mental disease, malformed appendages, baldness, etc.
