For online ticket booking use the site : www.irctc.co.in
For online booking you ned to have an online / internet banking account or a credit card. Most of the trains now have the facility of Print your ticket. IRCTC levies a charge of Rs.60/- per paper ticket (not per person) for delivery of physiscal ticket by courier, If you choose to print and travel, they cherge Rs.40/- per paper ticket. It is better as you do not have to wait anxiously for the ticket to arrive. I always use this.
