Yup I am serious! I mean, I used the term "submissive" which so many find offensive, but it's a goal to please a woman and be all that she needs? All comments appreciated, even the conflicting ones.

I think that the feminization of our society in general has caused men to try to be more sensitive, caring....and therefore have been (for the most part) transformed into jellyfish that no woman can truly respect.

Women have a strong desire to be cared for, taken care of, and the jellyfish fulfills that....but it's so hard for a woman to respect that, and a woman cannot love what she cannot respect.

So yes, for a generation guys were told by women they needed to try and understand their women, appreciate them more, but somehow that got transformed into guys are basically bad, girls are basically good, and guys just finally started giving up and saying "just tell us what will make you happy!" That became the guy's focus, for the sake of peace....just trying to find out what will appease a woman.

What women failed to realize is that they desire for a man to sweep them off their feet and lead them on a life of adventure. That's not going to happen when the guy is slaving over the girl and being thankful that she's not mad. That's detrimental for both the boy and the girl.

Where I come from, men are the complete opposite of that - concerned with being macho and very agressive but, in the end, they get what they want and they move on... (this is what I hear from women time and time again) - there are exceptions to every rule. I am an exception to this rule - I'm not much of a submissive but I definitely focus my energy on trying to make sure that my woman is satisfied. To me, unless my woman is happy, I will not be happy.

The measure of a man is how well does he provide for his family. As head of the household his primary goal should be in creating an environment that fosters the success of all family members, whatever their goals are to be. If appearing to be submissive satisfies that goal... it's good to be the king!

I think certain type of men are like that but the problem is they tend to hookup with the wrong type of woman which i think is all of the relationship problems is that cupid arrow just goes wild and most often miss its target.
