I also could not find any reference to her death in extensive searching. Also, as above poster stated, she is universally listed as Spanish, not Mexican. Also, IMdb lists her birthdate as the 16th of
September not August 29. Looks like you ran into a typically inaccurate rumor.

I couldn't find anywhere that she even died, but all of the websites agreed she was born on September 16, 1957. And she's Spanish, not Mexican.
