I have a nextel account but my nextel phone doesnt work that well, and I only have that boost mobile i730, can I transfer phones, just insert the sim card?

Just swap the SIM cards over .

That will work unless the i730 is Carrier Locked to Boost and you would then have to get the carrier lock removed

First of all, Boost is not powered by nextel, it's pre paid, and the only thing that it has to do with nextel is the direct connect network. Putting your sim in a boost phone may work for a while, but eventually it will burn out your sim, and you will have to get another one. If your nextel phone isn't working well, spend the extra 2.99 and add the NSP service and repair plan (It may be called something different now) and have your phone swapped out at an authorized service center for nextel...... Without the model of YOUR phone I couldn't tell if it may need a software upgrade, there are numerous things........ Good Luck! ♣
