Your cervix ( the opening to your uterus) takes on a blueish hue when a woman is pregnant. Your doctor can also feel the size of the uterus to see if it feels enlarged.

OMG JUST WAIT TO TALK TO THE DOCTOR TOMORROW. Go drink some hot tea and try to relax. You are getting yourself worked up and by the end of the night you will be thinking you have snuffaluffagusitus...... (not real by the way).
The doc will know before even swapping the uterus.

They can tell by looking at your cervix, even before they do a pap

just by visualizing the cervix they can see if pregnant
the cervix changes color and and closes
