I'll watch for a few minutes, then I'll get up and look for the remote. I'd rather watch some trashy reality TV, nothing against the President

I turn the channel unless I am in the mood for a good laugh, which you get if he doesn't have a script to read from. He is the most hilariously dumb person I have ever seen in my life and he's a hoot. He's a terrible president, but a pretty good comic, lol. But, if his speeches are scheduled and he reads from a script I watch something else and listen to the news later on to get the lowdown on what he said, which is usually bunk in the first place.

When the President Speaks I Listen!!!
Why???? Because regardless of whether I like him or not, or even agree with him or not he is the chosen leader of our country and I'd like to know what he has to say.
When Clinton was President I did not care for him but I listened to what he had to say, because he was the chosen leader for our country. I choose to honor and respect whoever is chosen for that position because I have come to realize it is not an easy place to be in. I imagine what it would be like to be in their position making important, difficult, and major decisions which impact us. I put myself in their shoes.

I ususally switch over to something I have recorded on TiVo and then listen to the news to "recap" what the president said later on.
