Why are Government agencies so high and mighty they can never admit when they make a mistake.
I have a disability claim, that there was a problem with, and each time I talked to someone at disability, they said something different.
Well I finally found out what was wrong, but it is too late because it is past 20 days.
I just got the letter saying I was disqualified and they have the wrong dates on for me to go back to work.
I know I did not make the mistake, someone at their office probably entered the wrong dates, but they will never admit it.
I know they will give me a hard time.
Is anyone out there a government worker, can you please tell me why, when you become employed by the government, do you come completely heartless, and enjoy stressing people out and giving them a hard time.

I totally agree with you. Another thing that pisses me off is these goverment workers who are rude and snotty, and look down on other people who are less fortunate. For example social workers..

I had to get a social worker in order for my child support to be sent to me. I have never in my life had to deal with such morons.... You can leave message after message and they refuse to return your call.

I have contacted the suppervisor many times about the behaivor of these social workers. I get told the same thing, they are over worked, over stressed and under paid so cut them some slack.

I had a friend was was disable. This person went through the same crap you are. She finally got herself a lawyer, with no money down. He took a small percent of the back pay. It was well worth it.

She had filled three times, and they kept messing up, so she asked to have a hearing and was told no.... so the lawyer got her a hearing and everything was approved....

Of course the people who work for the gov are never wrong.... they are snootty and they think they are better. and they love putting people down...

I was very sick and needed major surgery.... I have health insurance but they would only cover upto so much and after my deductible.. I could not work for three months... I had child support so that was good. But I needed help with my deductible and the such...so I went to social service..,.. they told me to cancel my other insurance, that since I was sick I would qualify for MA. So I did as I was told.....

I went to pick up my meds... and they pharmacy said I had no insurance, and I would need 450 dollars to cover the cost.... Of course social service did not goof up. It was my fault...so I went to the supervisor... and she said I am sorry, there is nothing I can do about it. You will just have to find a way to come up with your meds...

Then I went in to have surgery, I went a week and half without my meds.. when I went in for surgery, I knew the hosptial would give me meds... By the time I left the hosp. my insurance thing was figured out...

I am sorry this is about you and not about me.. I feel for you. get yourself a lawyer. it is well worth it...

Admitting error these days leads to legal culpability. If a Doctor admits a mistake, you sue him.

If a beaurocrat admits his own mistake, he is incompetent. If he admits another of his ilk made a mistake, he'll be chastised for not being a "team player."

It's a symptom of our society. The only thing you can do is get yourself a really good lawyer....

i had similar problems. They cant admit mistakes nor will they say soory. Because it would set a president for people to sue or make claims against them. its all about money, you know the old sayin money talks and bull5shit walks

Good question. This is an election year. Write your representative and give as much detail as possible about your situation--you never know. Best wishes, I hope they sort you out soon.
