Well first of all his name was Rod Serling (no "t")
And second of all my favorite episode is "Time Enough At Last"
Rod Serling popularized the O. Henry type twist at the ending that influenced M. Night Shamalayan, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, One Step Beyond, The Outer Limits, the writers of The Others, and countless other surprise twist endings.

Hard question to answer!!!
I really liked one called "The Ninth Floor" where mannequins got to take turns going out and acting like real people.
Another good one was when the space ship landed on Earth and not another planet. The survivors were only a hill away from civilization and didn't know it. They thought they were stranded on some other planet.
OK...one more...The episode where this woman dreamed that it was really hot because the Earth and the sun were getting closer to each other but in actuality it was just the opposite.

So many of them. The hitchhiker, the people in the town where everything was fake and they end up being dollhouse toys, the mannequins in the department store that take turns coming to life, Billy Mumie's episode of wishing people into the corn field if he didn't like what they were thinking, but my all time favorite was Willowby about the man on the train and the conductor calls out the name of the town Willowby. For some reason that one always scared me.

Which twilight zone there have been 3 i think of. the single interior the 60's, the 80's and the 2000's? interior the 60's there are 2 that i admire one replace into the place William Shatner replace right into a passenger in a jet airplane and he keeps seeing this creature exterior the wing of the airplane at night and raining. This episode replace into so reliable that Spielberg blanketed it interior the movie Twilight Zone. interior the 80's series I in easy terms observed it as quickly as, there replace into this guy who replace into searching for artwork as a truck driving force. So his chum recommended him to artwork for this guy. yet there replace into one concern. no question asked. and in no way opened whats on the decrease back of the truck. So this guy replace into driving the rig and he heard human beings have been interior and he replace into delivering them to hell. Then he unfold out the truck and found out numerous the human beings who they have been delivering to hell did no longer even commit great sins. So his ethical sense stricken him and asked the guy in can charge. The actor who performed the guy in can charge replace into that guy who performed "Q" De lanci? uncertain of the spelling of the call. SO De Lance suggested that God is a hectic guy and he extremely would not verify who is going to hell or heaven. So he propose him in simple terms innovations his very own organization. So on the top he will unfold out that truck contained in direction of the transport and decide who might get off the truck on a thank you to hell. yet another series from the 80's replace right into a Christmas episode that God had to break a planet in a supernova just to create the shining great call to announce the beginning of Jesus. So he

For me, it's got to be the one where the aliens come to Earth and they tell all the Earthlings that their planet is great and offer them visits to this paradise. They also have this book that the protagonists are trying to decipher.
When the lead guy is leaving for his own vacation, as he's boarding, the lead gal runs up to him and tells him she's deciphered the book, and it's a Cookbook! Of course, the aliens grab him and force him on the ship, and he knows his fate. Funny and creepy all at the same time.

Oh I loved this show, sure miss it! My ulitimate favorite is when this man, held in a hospital, and was covered with gauze & all you could see was his lips. He couldn't get anyone to answer him, not even his doctor. The only person you could see was this guy. They kept telling him that his face was terribly disfigured & he would have to wait for an operation. He couldn't wait, he ripped off his bandages & grabbed a mirror to see his face. It goes in close for the shot, and in the mirror he could see these totally disfigured monsters. He was on another planet, and he was normal & the others were all disfigured but him.

You hit the jackpot with this question. I loved them all. I always watch the marathons, too. Lately, I have seen them on the new channel that took over the WB. I also love Outer Limits.
