Use an acid fertilizer like Holly*Tone or Osmocote for acid plants. Holly*Tone lasts 6 weeks. Osmocote lasts about 4 months. You can also feed the Aluminum sulfate to make the new growth more blue. Don't fert. more than what the fert. instructions tell you to--if you push them too fast it leads to weaker trunk and branches.

The two answers above are directly contradictory. One says acidify, the other (lime) means deacidify. You didn't say how long the tree has been in the ground. Blue spruce, and all abies, tend to sit around for a couple of years after planting while they establish root systems, Once that's done, you'll see a foot of growth or more per year. Blue spruce can top out at 75' tall and 50 or more feet wide. Hope they're not too close to the house!
If you feel you must fertilize spruce trees, use a common 10-10-10 or something close, spread around the drip line. You can do that in the early spring, even over snow, and the freeze/thaw cycle will carry the fertilizer down to the roots.

Divinity !. Ofcourse good looks, great body or just dressing the right way does help. (i.e. from a purely physical perspective). But, I like to believe that man(human beings) are much more than just social animals. We often tend to forget that we all have a capacity to exist as spirit led beings. ( especially because of the over emphasis of fashion / good looks / materialism in the world ). Ultimately, physical attributes will and can only be physical or look aesthetic in a certain way. But, it's the "soul of the woman" which really matters. Imagine this, what use can a sexy figure or great looks or fancy clothes be if the woman does not have a equally good personality ?. It would merely help her to be a sex-symbol isn't it ?. ( or in other words, a bimbo !. ) // Sorry Ladies ! . . . // So, I guess it's a matter of choice or opinion. Imagine if the woman has a beautiful personality i.e. attitude / personality / a good soul . . . and on top of that, she has great looks, or a great body, or a good dressing sense. Now, that would really be something. Isn't it ?. Even if she doesn't have all of these physically appealing attributes, but still has a wonderful personality, a warm, kind, and a beautiful heart, she would be beautiful beyond words. What I feel, is that, it's the Divinity inside a person that makes the person beautiful !. But, I guess it's what "I" feel :) . . . Some people may think other wise ? . . . :) . . . Ex: I really like Norah Jones. I think she is my kind of a woman :) . . .

There are several manufacturers of "tree Spikes" fertilizer for trees. The spikes contain different ratios formulated for groups of trees. You need the ones for conifers or scaly leaf evergreens. Hammer at least 2-3 per tree around its drip line. Make sure you adequately water your tree. If its planted too deeply its gonna pout a while before it dies. If its planted in heavy clay its gonna smother out and then wither and die with out areation and proper soil amendments. Check for a root flare...a swelling of the trunk just at the top of the root ball. If you see one its planted at the correct depth...Not seeing one means planted too deep. Lots of factors when it comes to tree health and growth promotion. Proper planting techniques not followed are the number one reason most trees fail to grow and develop properly.
