Try yahoo games. There are a few games there that require a lot of typing. I use to play them all of the time. I can now type about 60 wpm. You can look for other free game sites. It makes it a little bit more fun to learn this way. There are a few free typing tutors out there also but they are a little hard to find. You can get a cheap program at any department store.

Pick up a book or magazine and just start typing away. You will pick it up soon.
Try the same sentence over and over again until it becomes easy. Then type the same paragraph over and over again. Your fingers will become used to the movements, and next thing you know you don't have to think about where your fingers are going. You think of the word and your fingers just know. I remember doing that in high school in my typing class.
Typing is memorization. You need repetition for memorization.

Have you ever had a course in typing? If not, you might want to get a book. Try www.amazon.com and look for used books. I have saved a lot of money by buying used books and all that I have gotten so far have had miniscule marks on the covers.
