Send the Army back Remember when Jimmy Carter sent the Army into Haiti??
Put 5000 men in Haiti and you have a million dollars a month being spent in local business. Soldiers buy souvenirs and Booze. All that money goes into the local economy.
And there is the sex trade making another 5 million a month.
It works better than aid alone or supporting a corrupt police force.

Take the billions we send to Israel for tanks and ammo to kill kids and women each year and cut that in half. Now send the money we save by cutting our aid to terrorist nations to help develop an economy that is beneficial to the people in Haiti. That would work. Just a thought.

First and foremost, you must get rid of the corruption (same with Africa). Without anything to attract foreign investment, there will be no job creation, no tax revenue, no prosperity and, subsequently, many poor and malnourished.
Is it just me, or does anyone else see a pattern of blatant mismanagement and corruption in most countries that are primarily run by black leadership? Just an observation. They do relatively little, if anything, for their own people.
What a disgusting shame.

We could send planes over it to drop a million chickens a day on Haiti. O wait, "liberals" would want us to drop tofu and veggie platters on them - whatever works. (God forbid those people should have protein in their diet...).
Or we could just bomb the place. Most places which we bomb end up being better than before (like Germany, Japan, etc...).

That's a tough one...I wish we were spending money on helping countries in need (including our own) instead of filling the rich's pockets further.
