Last night I had a yahoo account with E-mail folders. I bought a newer and better computer, and when I tried to get my E-mail by using my name and password, I got the message that that E-mail name and password havn't been used before, was I a new user? Worse when I tried to reuse the account information, I get the Message" This Password cannot be used, because it is too close to your name or Account Sign-in . Which is strange because I had been using it for nearly two years Why does this happen? Can I ever get my E-mail Folders back? Some of that information was very personal and dear to me. Yahoo is an Internet Browser, why should changing computers cause the loss of all the previous accoun information? Can anything be done?, or have I lost nearly two years of personal information, and if I have , WHY???? And why can't we get in touch with Yahoo direct?

If you were using Outlook Express or other email clients for checking mail then all your earlier mail would have been downloaded onto the old computer. You should have transferred the Backup Data of Outlook express account details into the new computer in order to restore the previous emails with your existing email account configured on the newer pc.

you're able to have won a contravention - and one extreme sufficient to have your account SUSPENDED (meaning you may never use solutions back)... a minimum of they did no longer BAN your account - this is a superb way of asserting they deleted your complete ACCOUNT (digital mail coated!!!) ;););)

Your information is all still there - you just misspelled your username.

Just try to sign in again and type carefully.
