wow, pretty nice poem,i really like it
A new morning, the sun shines, a flower grows, the bird flies, a leaf falls, the waves rise, the wind blows, the butterfly dies, a tear drops, the moon glows, another evening comes, and I love you even more. . .
Once upon a time
Something happened to me.
It was the sweetest thing
That could ever be.
It was a fantasy,
A dream come true,
It was the day I met you.
i asked God for a flower,
He gave me a bouquet...
i asked Him for a minute,
He gave me a day...
i asked Him for true love
He gave me that too...
i asked for an angel,
and He gave me you..
but...
the bouquet is dying...
and the day has gone...
the true love is passing...
and..
my angel has moved on...
Love is like a lump of gold,
Hard to get, and hard to hold
I do believe that God above,
Created you for me to love.
He chose me from all the rest,
Because he knew I would love you best.

Music begins with Do Re Mi
But true love begins with
you and me

prayer of a young child
As I lay me down to sleep,
To the lord I pray my soul to keep,
And If I die and do not wake
to the lord I pray that all my toys will break
so that none of the other kids can play with them
amen
this isnt mine.

“Poem for Parents”
There are little eyes upon you,
And they are watching night and day;
There are little ears that quickly
Take in every word you say.
There are little hands all eager
To do everything you do;
and a little boy who's dreaming
Of the day he'll be like you.
You're the little fellow's idol;
You're the wisest of the wise;
In his little mind, about you
No suspicions ever rise.
He believes in you devotedly,
Holds that all you say and do,
He will say and do in your way
When he's grown up like you.
There's a wide-eyed little fellow
Who believes you're always right;
And his ears are always open,
And he watches day and night.
You are setting an example
Every day in all you do;
For the little boy who's waiting
To grow up to be just like you.
A Mother's Love
A Mother's Love is like an island
In life's ocean vast and wide,
A peaceful, quiet shelter
From the restless, rising tide .. .
A Mother's Love is like a fortress
And we seek protection there
When the waves of tribulation
Seem to drown us in despair ...
A Mother's Love's a sanctuary
Where our souls can find sweet rest
From the struggle and the tension
Of life's fast and futile quest ...
A Mother's Love is like a tower
Rising far above the crowd,
And her smile is like the sunshine
Breaking through a threatening cloud ...
A Mother's Love is like a beacon
Burning bright with Faith and Prayer,
And through the changing scenes of life
We can find a Haven There ...
For A Mother's Love is fashioned
After God's enduring love,
It is endless and unfailing
Like the love of Him above ...
For God knew in His great wisdom
That He couldn't be Everywhere,
So He put His Little Children
In a Loving Mother's Care.
And God Said "No"
I asked God to take away my pride.
And God said "No".
He said it was not for him to take away,
but for me to give it up.
I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
And God said "No".
He said his spirit was whole,
his body was only temporary.
I asked God to grant me patience.
And God said "No".
He said patience is a by-product of tribulations.
It isn't granted, it is earned.
I asked God to give me happiness.
And God said "No".
He said he gives me blessings, happiness is up to me.
I asked God to spare me pain.
And God said "No".
He said suffering draws you apart
from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.
I asked God to make my spirit grow.
And God said "No".
He said I must grow on my own.
But he will prune me to make me fruitful.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life.
And God said "No".
He said I will give you life, that you may enjoy all things.
I asked God to help me LOVE others,
as much as he loves me.
And God said,
Ah, finally you have the idea.
