are signed on yahoo messenger as online then you decide to go invisible does it really go offline on your friends list (if they are online) does it say you signed out??

ok you know when you have those Busy, On The Phone, Etc with busy icon what does it show on your friends screen a blue clock? what is the blue clock?

Yes. You become offline to your friends when you decide to go invisible. It would also prompt them that you have signed out. However, if they would send you an IM, you would still receive it and if you reply the message, they would still receive your message. The blue clock indicates that your YM account is idle. It means that you are not using the facility (it also shows how many minutes you've been idle).

Yes thats right. If you are online and if you if go invisible, it will appear to your friends that signed out, but still you will be to recieve and send messages. There's one more way to find out whether the person is online or not even if the person is on invisible mode(I don't think anybody else know this). To check if whether some particualr person is signed in through invisible, go to Yahoo mail and then go to add that ID into your address book, then check your address book. Now if a yellow face appears on that, it means that the person is online. Try it out!!! It works

I do that all the time and my husband always asks me why I sign off and on all the time so yes it does say that you are offline and when you come back it tells them you are back!

yes it shows you offline. If not I would be swamped with IM's when I get online..

on aol instant messenger, that's what it does, so i'm guessing that it's the same for yahoo messenger.
